About me .
My practice is built on clarity, intentionality, and a focused pursuit of meaningful outcomes. As an attorney, I approach each matter as both advocate and strategist. For my clients, this distinction often makes all the difference.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Memphis, followed by my law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. During college, I worked for Memphis in May. That experience proved invaluable. It taught me how to communicate effectively, not only with celebrities and executives but also with the crew members and forklift drivers behind the scenes. I learned early on that everyone deserves respect and clear communication, regardless of their title or position.
Initially, after graduating law school, I planned on establishing my practice in Mississippi. Ultimately, however, I felt called back to Memphis, where my roots, family, and sense of purpose called.
I was fortunate to have exceptional mentorship as I began my legal career. My older brother, a seasoned attorney, provided invaluable guidance, as did a prominent Memphis attorney with more than forty years of experience, under whom I clerked while studying for the bar. I began practicing just prior to the pandemic, which challenged me to quickly master the intricate administrative side of running a legal business. That hands-on administrative experience continues to directly benefit my clients today.
At my core, I am driven by a strong dislike of injustice. I believe deeply in confronting unfairness and standing up for individuals who cannot effectively advocate for themselves. My clients know that their issues become my priorities, and that I approach each case with disciplined determination.
Outside of my practice, I recharge by kayaking in the Ozarks, golfing whenever time allows, and working on my amateur photography. I have a passion for international travel, sparked by a study abroad experience in 2015 that took me through Southeast Asia, China, South Korea, the DMZ, Berlin, and the United Kingdom. More recently, I have also enjoyed visiting the Dominican Republic. In my downtime, I read widely on topics like history, mythology, and science fiction, each of which fuels my curiosity.
I am comfortable in the courtroom, but my greatest strength lies in strategic negotiation. My clients are never treated like case numbers. They are individuals with real challenges, and my purpose is straightforward: I am here to solve those problems, methodically and thoughtfully.
